LOCATIONWe look forward to welcoming you to our 9th annual festival, running from June 26 to June 30, 2024, and to the digital festival preceding it, from May 25 to June 12, 2024.
This year, our festival is set to expand with additional film screenings at Seattle's historic Grand Illusion Cinema and Aegis Theater in the Queen Anne district of Seattle. Moreover, we are enhancing the festival experience by including more digital screenings, which will be featured in both our Program and Awards Ceremony.
In addition to filmmaker Q&A sessions, the festival will offer a variety of engaging activities: a networking meet and greet event, interactive conference panels, lively pop-up parties, and the prestigious Getty Images Awards Show Gala.

This year's jury includes:
Bobby LePire - Critic at Film Threat Magazine
John Capodice - Actor, portrayed Aguado in Ace Ventura, Bob in Speed, Jerry in The Doors, Sally Molars in Honeymoon in Vegas.
Elliott J. Brown - Producer of films grossing over $400 million. In 2020 he produced a feature film which grossed $199 million. In addition to producing, Elliott is known as a director, writer and actor.
Francesca De Luca - Actress in theater and award winning films including the 2022 Seattle Film Festival Best Ensemble Award for Storage.
Wilson Louis - Award-winning filmmaker and VFX Producer/ Director

We're going into our 3rd year celebrating The Women's Independent Film & Television Festival and we're so excited for this year's work, partnerships, competitions and more.
Whether a finalist or not, all officially selected filmmakers will be invited to join us at the Women's Independent Film Awards for screenings, networking, resources, collaboration, learning, partnerships and for our official premieres and awards ceremony blocks.
The Women's Independent Film & Television Festival was created to encourage female content creators with unique backgrounds to share their stories/ The festival will promote the work of women filmmakers and recognize them globally for their achievements in film.
Women have to be involved in the creation of ALL submitted films! That can be either as directors, producers, writers, performers, etc. Just as long as they were involved in the creation of the submitted work.

CATEGORYPortland New Alternative Voices is a bi-monthly awards event. It is an online event. The world has changed and so have we. We are embracing the virtual future, showing our elite films exclusively and broadly online in a manner that supports each film’s individual path of exposure.
The festival will welcome any independent project from all genres. This is an independent event for all Feature, Shorts, Documentary, Experimental, Commercial, Music Video, Animations, Student Films, Series and TV.
The award ceremony is looking for independent projects from all genres, particularly low or no-budget ones and all countries. Our mission is to promote films, and be another step up in the filmmakers' careers. The selection process has two parts. First, the submitted projects are judged through private screenings by our internal programming team, and they will select the Finalist films of each edition. Then the Festival’s jurors, who are a random team of invited experts mainly from the film industry, will privately review the films and award the best projects. All of the winners will receive the official laurel and an achievement certificate and can request an online screening. Winner’s announcements will be released through our social media to help promote the films.

Once you have enjoyed films from the collection and are ready to place your votes, head to your welcome email (Your Ticket) for the link to the voting form! If you purchased through Vimeo, please email support@liftoff.network for a voting link.
Strictly one set of votes per person. VOTES ARE RESERVED FOR PURCHASERS ONLY. Invalid votes will be removed and films could be disqualified. We want to keep this a fun and fair festival for everyone.
The top three films from the social round will be rated by Lift-Off's Official Judges who will go further in-depth and score the films based on multiple aspects. The film with the highest overall score is invited to the Sessions Features Winners event at Pinewood Studios where their trailers will be screened, they will participate in industry workshops and have hands-on advice and feedback.
Rules: One vote per rental.Voting will end 10pm (GMT) Monday 10th October.
After the festival, these films will be removed from the public domain.
